What is Forest Bathing?
Forest bathing, also called forest therapy, originated in Japan in the 1980s. While studying the declining health of the country’s population, researchers discovered the healing benefits of being in the forest and a national preventative healthcare program, called shinrin-yoku or “bathing in the atmosphere of the forest” was born.
Simply put, forest bathing is a mindful practice of immersing yourself in nature by engaging all your senses and connecting with all beings, including yourself.

My day job is as a marketing business manager of a very unique wellness center. It was a pretty stressful time until I found Forest Therapy. I get to talk with healthy people and not-so-healthy people, some on their last days, just trying to finish comfortably. But this is not who I am, this is one way I am able to serve others in a field I love. Wellness!
The definition of Wellness I found can be different for everyone, but for me, it's the steps we take on the daily to assist our health so we can continue to do what we love, with others.

What If It Rains?
We will Set a Rain Date for the Following Saturday or Sunday.
Are Trails Paved?
No...most trails are natural dirt surfaces and can be uneven.
What If I Would Like to Gift a Walk to Someone?
That's amazing!!! You can contact us, or simply schedule them for one of our walks.
Can I Bring My Kids?
12 and older in these groups would be good. In the future we will be doing Forest Therapy just for younger kids. It is more theme based for them, because there attention spam is so wonderfully playful.
What If An Emergency Arises And I Can't Make it?
We understand things come up. You can use your fee towards another walk we have scheduled.
Can I Bring My Dog ?
We are dog people too!!! Love dogs, however this is NOT the time and place to bring them. This is your time in nature.
What Happens When I Check Out?
